Dianna Cohen is a passionate advocate against plastic pollution. A Los Angeles-based visual artist, Dianna has shown her work internationally at galleries, foundations, and museums. With plastic bags as her primary material for the past 27 years, Dianna is interested in exploring its materiality through modifications and the material’s relationship to culture, media, and toxicity and the world at large and shared this in her TED Talk. Dianna is skilled in nonprofit organizations, communications, film, environmental issues, art education, entrepreneurship, and editing. She is an internationally exhibited visual artist and an arts and design professional with a BA focused in art and sciences from University of California, Los Angeles.
